DEAR BODY, I LOVE YOU
Do you love your body?
And let’s be real -if you feel uncomfortable with this question, then stop escaping it.
Your body can’t feel better and heal if it’s hated on.
I wasn't too fond of mine for the longest time because I experienced pain and health issues that wouldn’t seem to go away. I felt my body was against me. I didn’t know how to understand her, and I blamed her for hurting me.
Perceiving my body in this way wasn’t supportive – so, of course, she wasn’t going to support me.
So, I chose to dive in to discover why she was hurting and why I couldn't seem to love her.
Not only did I learn a lot from my studies about the body, but I also found beliefs and trauma that blocked me from fully loving my body. It brought tears to my eyes, finding out the truth.
I soon began to understand my body is designed with purpose, on purpose. And as soon as I started to transform my beliefs and trauma, my body felt lighter and free.
And today, I perceive my body as beautiful and wise, filled with all the medicine I need!
I love my body.
